Within the 2-5year departments we have two bright, airy and spacious rooms, which are the Daffodil Room and the Thistle Room. Children are supported in their learning by a team of fully qualified staff, including a qualified teacher. Throughout the day the children will be involved in free play and during each session there will be group time led by the child's key worker.
The rooms are furnished with high quality, safe, age appropriate furniture, equipment and resources to support children's learning through play.
The areas within the rooms are musical, literacy, creative, physical, dramatic play, science and construction. In consultation with the children the playrooms are resourced daily. All children will be respected and their individuality and potential will be recognised, valued and nurtured.
The children will be involved in educational experiences out with the nursery including visiting the museum, art gallery, library and the local parks.
